You don’t want to miss the inaugural Morning Pointe “Seniors Got Talent, Knoxville” showcase set to take center stage on November 18 at 7:00 pm at the Bijou Theatre as part of a fun-filled evening of senior talent performances to benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation. The show will feature ten seniors, ages 62 and older, getting their chance to shine on the big stage.
Enjoy master of ceremonies: “Voice of the Vols” announcer Bob Kesling! Plus, Knoxville celebrity judges on deck will include Holly Warlick, former head coach of the Lady Vols basketball team, Ted Hall, Evening News Anchor and Managing Editor for WVLT-TV, Channel 8, Susan Arp, a well-known public relations consultant and Susan Richardson Williams, a leader in public affairs and business.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners, including a $250 cash prize for the top winner
Building on the 10-year legacy of the “Senior Idol” talent show at the Morning Pointe of Hixson senior living community in Chattanooga, the 2021 Knoxville competition brings all of the fun and excitement of this classic event to a wider audience while providing the talented seniors across East Tennessee an opportunity to perform at the Bijou.
This marks the fourth show this year, with other exciting Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent showcases happening in Chattanooga, Franklin TN and Lexington, KY.
All proceeds benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation providing nursing scholarships and caregiver support programs.
