To give local artists a larger platform to showcase their music, the Bijou Theatre is proud to partner with WUTK to present Locals Only Live at the Bijou! This series aims to increase the accessibility of the Bijou stage to local artists and make local acts more accessible to the Knoxville Community. Join us to celebrate and enjoy Knoxville’s phenomenal music scene with your friends and neighbors!

About Jorden Albright:

Jorden Albright is a Knoxville, TN-based singer and producer. Her discography of dreamy synth melodies and ambient vocal layers largely falls under the electropop genre, but also features a fusion of other styles including house, hip-hop, and indie rock. Jorden released her sophomore EP, ANATOMY, in August 2022.

About nightjar:

Nightjar is a project started by Melanie LaFoy in 2019 who hails from Maryville, TN.  She produces unique and profound pieces that draw from her experience as a traveling folk artist, a background in classical piano, studies in poetry, and the French Touch electronic scene in Nantes, France. It is there where she began writing songs for her current project, nightjar in 2019. In the fall of 2022, several more members joined the band, allowing the expansive sounds to flourish. In the summer of 2023 from the enchanting hills of East Tennessee, HiDAZE was born. From intimate local venues to the grand stages, HiDAZE’s live performances are a mesmerizing experience, connecting fans through their evocative lyrics and stirring melodies. The band's genre is infused with elements of folk, rock, and pop, resulting in a vibe that is uniquely their own.

HiDAZE consists of: Emery Ball-Vocals and Guitar, Ava Finkbeiner: Vocals and Bass, Emma Combs, Vocals and Keyboard/Synth, Lila Satterfield: Guitar, Sarah Williams: Drums

As Knoxville’s Cultural Jewel, we strive to represent Knoxville culture by showcasing local live music that otherwise would not have the opportunity to play on a stage of our size and stature. Artists are selected to play the regional live music series through an application process. After artists have submitted an application form, they are chosen by our dedicated team of live music enthusiasts to perform on the Bijou stage.
