The Bijou Theatre is excited to announce our new local live music series, presented by WUTK, Locals Only Live at The Bijou! Locals Only Live at the Bijou aims to increase the accessibility of the Bijou stage to local artists and make local acts more accessible to the Knoxville community. As Knoxville’s Cultural Jewel, we hope to represent Knoxville culture by showcasing local live music that otherwise would not have the opportunity to play on a stage of our size. You can expect this series to occur multiple times throughout the year. Our inaugural showcase will take place on Thursday, February 1st. Artists will be chosen to play our new local live music series by an application process. The application deadline to perform on the February showcase is November 17th, 2023. Artist submissions can be filled out through the link below.
