Patsy White, 21st Century working class creative. Portraits are & have always been my artistic passion. I‘m inspired by a great facial or other physical expression that reveals something about the subject. Something about their sense of humor or emotional state. A twinkle in the eye, tilt of the head, or telling smile that suggests they are concealing much more than they are telling. I hope those that view my work will be intrigued by the ever changing cast of characters in my body of work. I’m also motivated by current events and social issues, including politics.
I’m fortunate to be able to make a living using my creativity. In order to do that, I wear a lot of hats. I own and operate Ferrell White Art & Interiors in Knoxville, TN, providing paint & interior design services for over 20 years.
I’ve had several solo shows & participated in multiple group shows, and have had a few pieces published in the Pigeon Parade Quarterly art and poetry magazine, & was among the finalists in Artrepreneur’s 2018 Art Elevated exhibition.
