Follow the misadventures of Geronimo, who intends to arrange a marriage between his eldest daughter, Elisetta, and the wealthy Count Robinson. However, when the Count arrives, he becomes smitten with Geronimo’s youngest daughter, Carolina. In a twist of fate, he proposes to accept half the dowry if he can marry Carolina instead.

Little does Geronimo know that Carolina is already secretly married to Paolino, one of his employees. As chaos unfolds, the plans of all involved become increasingly complicated, with misunderstandings and romantic entanglements leading to uproarious consequences.
