In this one-day holiday improv workshop, students will jump into games, scenes, characters, and holiday-themed challenges designed to build confidence, creativity, and quick-thinking skills. No script, no pressure, and no need to be a comedy expert — just come ready to play.
Improv is about much more than being funny. It teaches students how to listen, communicate, collaborate, think on their feet, take risks, and feel comfortable when things don’t go exactly as planned — skills that are useful onstage, in the classroom, in interviews, and just about everywhere else.
And parents, consider this your sign to do a little holiday shopping in downtown Knoxville while your kid spends the day at the Bijou making scenes, making friends, and – undoubtedly – laughing the day away!
