Auditions can be stressful — but they don’t have to be a mystery.
This one-day intensive helps young performers ages 13–17 prepare for college theatre auditions, professional opportunities, and their next big role. Students will work on selecting and preparing audition material, making strong performance choices, presenting themselves professionally, and building confidence in the audition room.
Through mock auditions and personalized feedback, students will gain practical tools they can use immediately and learn what it takes to stand out while staying true to who they are as performers.
To get the most out of the workshop, students should prepare two contrasting 60-second monologues and a musical theatre selection (32 bars to 1 minute) with sheet music in the correct key. These materials will be used for coaching, mock auditions, and personalized feedback throughout the day.
